SoundWorks Collection was on location at the MPSE Golden Reel Awards where they were able to capture this years ceremony for the Career Achievement Award, with this years recipient being Walter Murch. The award is presented with an introduction from Randy Thom and George Lucas. Congrats!

The King’s Speech was one of my favorite films of the year. Not only was it an enjoyable movie but it also sounded great. The following video goes into detail about a field of sound work that is commonly overlooked and underrated – production sound.
