This weeks recording was one I made while staying in a hostel over in London.  It was a rather long take and I edited out a fun portion of it that I thought would be good for this week’s listen.  Can you guess what it is?

Monday Night Listen – #007 by MikeQuell

For last weeks answer, or “Monday Night Listen – #006″, that recording came by somewhat of an accident.   An employee and I set out to record some sewer sounds together.  We planned on getting an impulse response of it, some distant dropping debris and some other eerie and creepy elements for a project we were working on.  While performing some of the takes I found a children’s soccer ball.  It was small and I was able to hold it almost entirely in the palm of my hand.  With out putting much thought behind it, and being the guy I am, I instantly threw it as hard as I could at the sidewall of the sewer.  The effect of that is what you hear in the recording.  You can listen again here:  Monday Night Listen – #006
