TC Electronic’s is releasing their PolyTune app through iTunes for free right now.  I’ve read that it’s only for the first 25,000 downloads so snatch it up while you can.

Live Nation has is offering tickets free of service fees for all their owned and operated amphitheaters this month.  This is great considering these fees usually make up around 30% of the ticket costs.  Some of the biggest artists are a part of this deal:  Alice in Chains, MGMT, B.B. King, Ozzfest, Rush, Elton John, [...]

David Steinwedel has a great recording of a treadmill.  It sounds like some kick ass material for the sci-fi/tech realm.  Check it out after the jump.

Sanken has introduced their new “short shotgun” microphone, the CS-2.  The mic has an 120mm acoustic tube in a 250mm body using Sanken’s rectangular capsule for more define directionality.  They mic also features a “high boost” switch that will compensates for the attenuation of high frequencies when the mic is used with a windscreen/windjammer.
